Lam’s works often begin with the repetitive and regulated rhythms of urban life as a point of departure. Through prolonged observation of cityscapes, the collection of individuals’ lived experiences, and the reassembly of fragmented moments, she guides viewers to notice the anomalies that slip through the cracks of the everyday—prompting reflection on the essence of life and the multiple layers of meaning it holds.
