Zhou Jin 周晉


Zhou Jin received his B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. in Fine Arts from China Academy of Art (Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts), Hangzhou. Professor Zhou joined the Department of Fine Arts, CUHK, in 2006. His specialization includes traditional Chinese painting, experimental ink painting as well as Figure Sketching. His research focuses on Chinese Portraiture, 20th century Chinese Painting and Chinese Ink Painting.
Zhou has participated in various exhibitions, including, “Annual Review Exhibition of China Contemporary Ink Painting 2016-2017” (Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, 2017), “Boundless: Ongoing–Chinese Ink Art 2017” (Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, 2017), “Boundless Water—Ink Paintings by Wong HauKwei, Zhou Jin and Chan Kengti” (Shenzhen Fine Art Institute, 2016), “Epoch in Ink – Inheritance and Transformation” (Liang Yi Museum, 2015), “A Tale of Two Cities” (Hong Kong Arts Centre, 2015)” The Hong Kong Contemporary Art Awards 2012″ (HKMOA, 2013), and “Solo Exhibition of Zhou Jin” (Hui Gallery, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, 2009) etc.
